BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
New – No Risk Covid Booking and Cancellation Policy
We understand covid has made it hard to travel, so we want to make it as easy for you to book your next vacation with us in confidence.
Currently we have extra flexible booking terms and have a covid no-penalty cancellation policy.
- If your country’s border or Hawaii’s border closes in time for your booked retreat you are welcome to reschedule it at no penalty.
- If you are unable to fly at the last minute due to a verifiable covid related issue, such as receiving a positive PCR test or the airline cancelling your flight, you will also be able to reschedule your retreat at no penalty. You must provide proof of a positive COVID-19 test.
PLEASE NOTE that your retreat package purchase is non-refundable, but your retreat credit is valid for 2 years and can be applied to any Retreat in Hawaii until Dec 31st 2024.
The package is also transferrable if you would like to sell your package at the value purchased to someone you know or change the name the package it is under.
RETREAT CANCELLATIONS
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.
Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation.
DEFINITIONS
“Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Retreat in Hawaii, including postponing or rescheduling.
“You” refers to the guest booking a Retreat in Hawaii with Ange Arbuckle.
“We” refers to Retreat in Hawaii.
GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY
**If you cancel your trip, Retreat in Hawaii does not offer refunds for any reason.**
A portion of your payment may be used as credit for another retreat to be taken within 2 years of your original retreat date. We will gladly transfer your credit to another guest.
Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties may apply. (This does not apply to verifiable covid related issues where we understand that travel insurance may not cover a last minute cancellation)
Fees are determined by the following schedule:
- If you cancel more than 60 days before your retreat start date, 100% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat.
- If you cancel 30 – 59 days before your retreat start date, 75% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat. You will forfeit 25% of the price of your retreat.
- If you cancel 15 – 29 days before your retreat start date, 50% of your payment may be applied to another Retreat. You will forfeit 50% of the price of your retreat.
- If you cancel 14 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.
YOUR INITITAL BOOKING DEPOSIT TO HOLD YOUR SPOT IS NOT REFUNDED AND YOU WILL LOSE THAT DEPOSIT IF YOU CANCEL YOUR RETREAT. no exceptions.
We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed Participant Agreement form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to retreat start date, whichever comes first. Guests who fail to do so may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.
TRAVEL AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE
To join the retreat you must have travel insurance. Please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for all relevant sports activities you will be engaging upon on your retreat & regular trip cancellation issues that are not related to covid (for example – a broken leg).
Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees.
With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
RETREAT IN HAWAII CANCELLATION POLICY
If Retreat in Hawaii must cancel a booked retreat date, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a refund of your payment to us, constituting a settlement.
Retreat in Hawaii is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
PAYMENT POLICY
After a confirmation has been emailed to you, a courtesy cancellation is offered within 24 hours should you have a change of mind. ALL payments to be made in full 30 days before the retreat start date.
BOOKING INFORMATION
Please confirm retreat availability before purchasing your flight. Retreat prices do not include airfare. All major credit cards, checks and money orders are accepted.
TRAVEL AND FLIGHT INFORMATION
Please check with us to make sure we have space available in the retreat date of your choice prior to booking your flight to Hawaii.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
You must bring a valid passport and it should have at least six months remaining before expiration date to be valid.
CONSIDERATION
We humbly ask that you accept an offer of postponing or transferring your retreat booking rather than ask for a refund at this time. As a small business that is being heavily impacted by this global crisis, we are doing all we can to preserve our business’s viability so that will be able to serve you in the future.Thank you for closely considering the options above.

It’s our intention to make things as simple as possible for anyone who wants to go on a retreat, while balancing the administrative and business realities of those who run retreats.
WELCOME PACKET
Once you have reserved a retreat, you will receive a Welcome Packet with all the retreat information including a suggested packing list, liability release form and other informative information.
