1. How do I know if I am ready to host my own retreat?

There are many qualities that make for a great retreat leader, I believe you are ready WHEN you have a burning passion for holding space for others to transform. Hosting a retreat is inviting others to travel, experience and explore beyond their normal routine living, thinking and ways of being.

I believe retreats offer a powerful opportunity for growth and transformation because we allot 4-7 days of our lives with purpose and intention for change which is a powerful statement on its own.

So, are you ready to host? This question truly feels individual and whether you are truly ready or not... that is why you have me in your back pocket because I will support you all the way and you will be ready!

3. I have heard Hawaii is very expensive, is that true?

On average a tourist in Hawaii can spend $250-$350 per day for room and food. However, I must admit that I have been known to pull of an insanely inexpensive retreat, as well as a top of the line luxury, no expenses spared retreat! I will walk you through a realistic budget and your wish is my command!

4. How much does renting a house in Hawaii cost?

On average, an ocean front home in Hawaii can rent from anywhere from $9,000.00 - $15,000.00 and onwards. Hotels run anywhere from $250-$550 ++ per night.

5. Do I have to pay $ for the entire retreat beforehand?

NOPE! We ask for a deposit to secure the dates and for blocking our calendar, which is typically between $1500-$2000. MOST places have non-refundable deposits, HOWEVER, we allow a portion of the deposit to be applied to beach front accommodations here in Hawaii! So if you change your mind on a retreat you at least can come and have a vacation!

6. How much does hiring your retreat expertise and retreat oasis cost?

The retreat packages range from $2000.00 -$12,000.00 with the option to build and add on as your vision changes or the number of guests change. After the initial deposit, the remaining balance is due in separate payments leading up to your retreat. We require that all funds be paid in full two weeks prior to your retreat.

Ultimately, our greatest success is providing the atmosphere, expertise, and support for YOU to succeed and that being said we want to both work with you and for you!

7. What is the difference between hiring Retreat in Hawaii and doing it myself?

This is a great question to ask and it truly warrants a conversation!

However. Our experience leading many retreats has been that although they are incredible and life changing, there is also a lot of behind the scenes work! That's where we come in! Multiple air port run to arrive and depart, grocery shopping for seven days to feed 6-15 people, packing and preparing for excursions, house cleaning mid retreat, meal preparation and clean up, shopping for gift bags, coordinating special requests and trips, having all of the in-house supplies like candles, journals, incense, paper, and pens.

8. I am an experienced Retreat Leader, so what benefits can you offer me?

Since you already have experience then you know first hand the effort required to pull off a seamless retreat and so imagine that you now have a 'go to' and she is taking care you your guests AND most importantly, YOU!

My desire is that you feel like you are in a retreat yourself, minus the part where you deliver your magic!

9.How many guests can your beach house sleep and what if I want more rooms?

The beach house has two dwellings on site. The main house has three large bedrooms which can sleep up to 8 guests in shared rooms. The studio can sleep up to two guests.

IF guests do not want to share rooms, then I have direct access to vacation rentals next door to my home, and also there is a condo complex five minute walk down the beach in which rooms can be rented separately.

10. Do you have experience with all dietary needs?

Funny you should ask as my previous career was a Holistic Nutritionist where I owned a Natural Health Store and did corporate wellness & private consulting for 10+ years! I have in depth experience with many diverse dietary needs and requirements and would be happy to curate special menu options!

11. What if I cannot fill my retreat?

Hands down this is the MOST common question! My rule of thumb is if you can think of at least 2-3 clients who would attend then I would go ahead and plan a retreat! It also helps to offer a few clients an AMAZING incentive for booking the early bird price before you launch, like a additional 1-1 coaching call or possibly a small savings on a future MasterMind? I find this really helps to gain momentum and gives you some ease with launching to already have participants paid and coming!

Please know that I have your back and I will also supply you with many resources to plan, promote, and execute you retreat. I offer on-line group calls to work through any fears, beliefs or mindset limitations together while you are in the planning phase to make sure you are not blocking your potential!

Lastly, we also work with several external companies that I partner with to help promote our retreats for a small booking fee, so I really do not see this being an issue at all!

12. Could you help me run my first retreat?

There is a package option to have me co-host your retreat with you and we would work together step by step to build your vision. Personally, I find that most new leaders have peace of mind just having me there as a back up support and actually surprise themselves with how ready they are!

13. Does my retreat need to be 7 days long?

Not at all! We can create whatever you desire! A weekend retreat, four day retreat, or even a nine day retreat!

I have had clients hire me to create and co-host VIP days for their clients and then stay here privately with family afterwards.

I have had clients host a four day weekend retreat and I also have had clients invite their four best gals and have a soul-cation where they use retreat in Hawaii for everything soul!

14. I have never been to Hawaii before, should I travel before my retreat?

Not at all! Having your very own local tour guide and on-site personnel allows you to arrive, settle in and welcome your guests! However, if time and budget permits, then it is a great idea to visit before you host as your clients and audience will have a sense of Hawaii through you!
